What EU country reported the highest annual increase in industrial production in November 2025?

Cyprus, with a 10.5% annual increase in industrial production, followed in second, with other EU countries to report a notable increase including Croatia (+8.8%), Latvia (+6.9%) and Czechia (+5.8%).

At the other end of the scale, the biggest decreases in industrial production in November 2025 were observed in Bulgaria (-9.3%), Malta (-8.2%) and Hungary (-5.5%).

Industrial production in the EU

At EU level, seasonally-adjusted industrial production increased by 2.2% in November on an annual basis, while in the euro area, the increase was 2.5%, Eurostat noted.

On a sector-by-sector basis, industrial production increased for intermediate goods (+0.9%), for capital goods (+4.0%) and for non-durable consumer goods (+2.6%), however there were declines for energy (-0.3%) and durable consumer goods (-2.9%).

On a month-on-month basis, industrial production rose by 0.2% in the EU and by 0.7% in the euro area.

The biggest monthly increases were observed in Estonia (+6.0%), Lithuania (+5.8%) and Czechia (+2.3%), while Luxembourg (-7.3%), Denmark (-5.1%) and Portugal (-3.0%) reported the largest decreases. Read more here.
